Established in 1987, Utah Eye Centers is a multispecialty ophthalmic and optometric practice with 17 providers across 5 locations along the Wasatch Front. Position Summary
We are seeking a talented, patient-focused Optometrist (OD) to join our expanding team. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a positive attitude, strong communication skills, an interest in the business side of optometry, and proficiency in full-scope clinical care. This position will be based out of our Jackson Wyoming location.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations
- Diagnose and assist in managing ocular disease
- Prescribe corrective lenses and vision therapies
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients
- Educate and counsel patients on vision health and treatment options
- Maintain detailed, accurate patient records, including diagnoses and treatment plans
Requirements:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure to practice as an Optometrist
- Experience or strong knowledge in ophthalmology, pediatrics, and optical care preferred
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and familiarity with medical terminology and coding
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and the use of medical equipment such as slit lamps and tonometers
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and data security
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on customer service and communication
- Ability to perform detailed examinations while maintaining aseptic technique standards
- Strong organizational skills for managing medical records and documentation efficiently

Seeking Associate OD
The Eye Institute of Wyoming, P.C. is seeking an associate optometrist. Located in Casper and Douglas, Wyoming, our office serves the ocular needs of patients in central eastern Wyoming. Come practice full scope optometric care including small scale surgical and laser procedures. You'll use your skills to provide high-quality vision care to our patients. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering quality patient care, and is eager to learn and develop their clinical skillset.
Your regular duties will include:
- Perform comprehensive eye exams including contact lens services
- Oversee Staff development, training, and HIPAA compliance
- Diagnose, treatment, and management of ocular disease
- Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients
- Perform minor surgical procedures including non-invasive laser procedures
- Continued development of company reputation through community involvement
Optometrist Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
- Valid state license to practice optometry in Wyoming
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
